Harnessing Mind Power to Feel Self Empowered: 1 Powerful Tip

By harnessing mind power you can program your subconscious mind and begin to feel confident very quickly. You would feel confident to handle any situation even if the situation is difficult or unusual.

Why do people need to Harness Mind Power?

Often we feel powerless when we don’t know how to handle an unusual situation, a difficult situation or a situation where we were left inadequate in the past.

In such circumstances most of us begin to feel anxiety and worry.  We can also feel some degree of helplessness when we can’t come up with a solution to resolve that situation.

When we feel unable to handle our anxiety, worry and helplessness we feels powerless.

Most people do not know that by harnessing mind power they can easily become free from their feelings of anxiety, worry and helplessness.

This is very important to understand. We can easily feel empowered and access our internal and external resources to find answers to handle the situation by harnessing mind power which makes it possible for us to feel calm and relaxed.

In summary, therefore, our state of powerlessness is our inability to cope and manage our feelings of anxiety, worry and helplessness. Once we learn the skills of dealing with these feelings, we would not feel powerless often, or would come out of that state very quickly.

1 Tip for Harnessing Mind Power:Practice as written below

Whenever you feel helpless, just accept the fact that you are feeling helpless. The very act of accepting creates a shift in your internal emotions. This is because now you are not fighting your state of helplessness. You are saving your precious psychic energy. Acceptance also reduces the intensity of the feelings. In a few minutes, you would feel somewhat lighter and relaxed. Once you are relaxed and calmer, you will be able to find some answer to the situation using your current competencies.  Here are the steps:

When feeling helpless, anxious or worried, silently say to yourself, ‘I welcome this helplessness/anxiety/worry’.

Repeat this statement several times.

Within a few minutes you will begin to feel lighter and better.

Be ready to be surprised: while repeating this phrase, you may also go into light trance, feel relaxed and your intuitive mind may give you an idea of how to resolve that situation.

Harnessing mind power is fairly simple once you know the right techniques. Try this technique and allow your mind power to enfold.

Laughing is one of the greatest tools to release stress, instantaneously. It does not matter really whether we laugh because we want to or not. But the fact is when we laugh, even when we do not want to, after a moment or so we feel shift in our mood, our internal emotional state and our perspective on situations begin to change. I hope you like the following video as much as I did. Enjoy and best laughing!

In the following article, I like the processes which Courtland Warren writes about achieving self-discipline. As most of us know, self-discipline is one of the most critical elements which differentiates successful people from not so successful people. I often used to struggle with self discipline issues relating to physical exercise, being consistent and persistent, and also meeting time lines. My mind would often create creative excuses only to support my procrastination and avoidance of doing the required hard work.

In this article I like most the process “envision the worst”. I fully resonate with this. Each time I have done this process, I felt motivated because my logical mind always said: this worst will not happen. Thus I was inspired to act and get the results I wanted. I offer this article for reading of all visitors to my website. Thanks for reading. With gratitude to Courtland Warren.

How to Achieve Self-Discipline

Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/5906517

Self discipline is the one driving factor behind achieving what you want. Regardless if it is losing weight, making more money, quitting smoking, changing careers, or something else, self discipline is a requirement for you to achieve success. For most of us the word “discipline” itself is intimidating and sounds like a lot of work and when you put the word “self” before it then it appears even more scary.

Developing self-discipline does not have to be difficult if you know how to approach it properly. Instead of trying to swallow the whole picture organize your strategy into bite-sized pieces that you break off and tackle one at a time.

Your Mind Can Be a Hazardous Neighborhood

Your mind is a powerful tool and if it is working against you it can be a hazard to your success. Every time you try to achieve something it seems like something is standing in your way however it is not visible. This is your subconscious trying to stop you from achieving something positive. The voice of your subconscious can be quite persuasive so you need to be aware so you can prepare to battle it.

What kinds of things does your mind tell you that prevent you from moving forward? Your subconscious mind will do everything in its power to stop you by saying things like, “Why are you doing this?” Why be bothered? Remember last time you failed!” “You do not have the capabilities to do this.” “Why not wait until the ideal time?” and on…and on….and on.

The key to overcoming these thoughts and carrying on with your goals is to recognize your subconscious voices when they are talking to you. If you can recognize them as soon as they occur you can begin to fight back.

Your subconscious is the biggest hurdle you must overcome to learn self discipline.

Break Out of the “All or Nothing” Syndrome

If you look at the entire picture you will never get started because the tasks appear too overwhelming. Remember if you start something you do not have to finish it all in one session. The important thing is to start and then set small milestones that will take you to the finish line.

It Does Not Have to Be Perfect

If you are a perfectionist you are standing in your own way. While it is okay to set high standards, if you think it has to be perfect the first time you will never be able to discipline yourself to get started. Instead jump off the cliff and then build your wings on the way down. Once you have something to evaluate then you can worry about perfecting it. The main thing is to get going.

Envision the Worst

Sometimes if you imagine the worst that can happen you will find that the worst is not so bad. It is the things you imagine in your mind that make the worst seem monumental. Envision the worst and then provide a backup strategy that helps you feel more confident about getting started.

Inspire Yourself

If you are surrounded by people who do not believe in what you are trying to achieve then inspire yourself. Leave inspirational sayings in locations where you can see them repeatedly throughout the day. Think carefully about what they mean and stay focused on the steps you will take each day to achieve self discipline.

“I can’t change the direction of the wind, but I can adjust my sails to always reach my destination.” ~ Jimmy Dean

I love this quote sharing how we can move towards our goals with ease just by aligning with the flow.

Most of us resist doing that; either out of ignorance (we are not aware that we are going against the flow) or because of our ego (we believe what we know is best) and hence there is no need to change. But all those who achieve greater success in life share the same principle: know the flow and align with it. In fact in all religious philosophies this is the key teaching: go with the flow and achieve your goals. But when people act out of ego, they often resist and in the process spent much more energy to realize their goals. Those who know how to align with the flow often get more than what they expected. An interesting phenomenon to watch. Are you ready to align?

My comments: I love when people recognize the power of mindfulness in leadership, because mindfulness allows for better decisions and teamworking. I am sure you will love the following simple tips.

“Earlier this year we blogged about the Wisdom 2.0 Conference in Silicon Valley, an event that brought together mindful teachers and technology executives to discuss how we can engage the great technologies of our age in ways that benefit people, our society and the world.

The second year of the conference brought 400 people to the event and more than 130,000 visitors to the event’s web stream.  The top 10 mindfulness tips below were gathered from several speakers at the event – including Seane Corn, Jon Kabat Zinn, Chris Sacca and Jack Kornfield.  Find out more about each of these tips and who offered them.

  1. Don’t let strong emotion betray everything you care about
  2. Re-examine what makes you happy
  3. See the shades of grey
  4. Pause
  5. Take tea time
  6. Don’t call it mindfulness
  7. Just live
  8. Use moments of waiting as opportunities for mindfulness
  9. Be intentional about what you’re doing
  10. 1 Breath, 1 minute every day.

Mindfulness is something we at Amplify Leadership integrate into our work and our programs.  We use mindfulness practices in our teams and in our programs, teaching people how mindfulness can create better results in every area of their professional and personal lives.

Do you practice mindfulness?  If so, what results does it bring you?  How do you suggest people act more mindfully in their work and their life?  Let us know your ideas.  We’d love to try them out for ourselves!  Here is another post you might want to read about practicing mindfulness at work.”

The man who really promoted the concept of Alpha State of Mind, Jose Silva, did a great service to humanity. Having practiced Alpha Meditation for over 15 years, I can endorse each of the words spoken by Jose Silva in this short video. Enjoy.
